Themes and objectives This networking and capacity-building event aims to bring together key Erasmus+ mobility practitioners in the field of adult education to explore how “Active Citizenship and Civic Engagement,” a horizontal priority for Erasmus+, can be promoted more effectively. The event will be structured around five core elements: INSPIRATION (learning from experienced professionals and practitioners), IDEATION (aligning programme-level objectives with innovative development goals and institutional mobility priorities), COLLABORATION (identifying partners for future mobility programmes and exchanges), PREPARATION (reflecting on Erasmus+ funding opportunities and expectations), and PROMOTION (producing short videos and other resources outlining future mobility partnerships and plans). |
Expected outcomes By the end of this networking and capacity-building event, participants will be able to: • RECOGNISE the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme in promoting “Active Citizenship and Civic Engagement”; • COMPARE current institutional practices with Erasmus+ objectives and priorities for learner and staff mobility in adult education; • DEVELOP targeted programmes that effectively engage adult education learners and staff in activities promoting active citizenship and civic engagement. |
Additional information Throughout the event, participants will learn from practical experience and work in groups of national and international peers to share their experiences, propose innovations, and exchange ideas for future projects and partnerships. |
