Applications are now open for the Navigating the Polarities of Democracy: Justice and Due Process live webinar series, designed for youth professionals interested in exploring the balance between democracy, justice, and due process. Held within the framework of Erasmus+, the event offers innovative approaches to strengthening democratic participation.

07/07/2026

This online webinar is the third session of the Erasmus+-supported "Navigating the Polarities of Democracy for Empowered Youth Participation" project.

Participants will explore how the concepts of justice and due process should be balanced within democracy, the impact of this balance on democratic societies, and how it can be applied in youth work.

The programme will cover:

  • The relationship between justice and due process in democratic theory,

  • Assessing current democratic challenges through the "polarity thinking" approach,

  • Sharing experiences with participants from different countries,

  • New methods applicable to youth work and non-formal learning

The webinar will be led by Morris Bidjerano, a member of the Institute for the Polarities of Democracy.
